Exercise is one of the most important aspects in health and wellness. Regular exercise strengthens muscles including the heart, prevents against degenerative joint disorders, improves stamina, focus, and decreases stress.Some of our exercise therapy programs at Ascension Wellness Centre incorporate weight loss, active rehabilitation, improved athletic performance, overall wellness, and core training. Our exercise therapist is a Registered Kinesiologist (RK) and holds a CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) and well as a CFC (certified fitness consultant).
To gain a better understanding of your fitness, we offer a fitness assessment which will measure flexibility, endurance, strength, range of motion and a host of other measurable functions. With the data from the assessment our exercise therapist will be able to mold a program around your specific needs.
Whether it is rehabilitation exercises, personal training, or sport specific training. We will work on imbalances and help to properly train your body in several categories:
